It would have been cheaper for you to simply stick your Visa debit card in an ATM and take out money when you get there. I live in Germany, and it costs me about £1 to withdraw €100 from my English bank account via ATMs over here.
Oh well, you'll know for next time....
They're quite good though - I can nip into loads of different countries without changing me dosh.
