I think that its not the fact that there are not games about Barbie and the Spice Girls( which I think are really sissy by the way) that discourage girls like me from playing games, its that it seems to be thought that we are not encouraged enough to start to play games because of the fact that the boys think that we should go out and buy clothes and shoes rather than buying a console game that we would like to play. I myself like most types of games, my favourite that my boyfriend has is Gran Turismo 2, and I cant wait for him a Playstation 2 so that I can then play Gran Turismo 3.
I also like playing games with my male mates like Goldeneye where we can take our frustrations out on my mates and spill some blood. I really love horror movies you see!!! What I believe is that there is a stereotype that girls arent supposed to play games, but just to wear make-up and tight fitting skirts and clothes and go pull the blokes and look 'oh so pretty' than to play games and I think this is unfair. There are girls out there who like to play games that dont just wear denim jeans and look a right tomboy, its just that when we look a bit feminine the boys tend to just say "shouldnt you be out getting some more shoes!". I think us girls should be given a chance to play games, you never know, wed probably be better than the lot of you, just look at the exam results!!!

I have no problem with that...
Does that mean I don't get a chance to tell you how intelligent I am. ;)
For the last few years, boys have done better on average in GCSEs and A-Levels.
Boasting about your grades also, does not make you a better person.
5 years! Can't live with that!
