And to be totally honest, I don't know what to make of it. I rented it out for a couple of nights, and as soon as I heard the stirring war music, I was captivated. The opening landing absolutely blew me away, sometimes literally. :D

But I found it wierd. I knew I was playing an absolutely brilliant game, as atmospheric and realistic as any. But for some reason I feel flat once I stop - I don't know if that's down to the intensity of play, or what.

I'm interested - what are you thoughts on the game? I dont want any 'its wicked' comments, but proper opinions on the game.

Thanks.

Well, I don't know what to say really. This is my first post but since I love MOH so much, I have to comment.

I have completed MOH and almost completed MOH: Underground (both on PS1) but I only have a demo of frontline yet it still blew me away. The graphics are great, but it's the way the walls fall all around you, music sends an emotional messege and comrades get swept up in the violence. I didnt think any game could better GTA3 for a long time but Frontline is coming close.

Thanx for all the positive comments, I will now force my mum to give me the money....

I'm on the last level but one at the moment. I've pretty much mastered the controls now, which definitely helps the game flow better. I can also see myself playing through it again on a harder difficulty setting... which is a sure sign of quality.

I got it back on release day but I have only played the first two levels. The sound and atmosphere was great but the gameplay seemed slow, clumsy and not as much fun as certain other shooters.

It could be that I just haven't got into it yet or haven't gotten used to the controls but I'm not greatly impressed so far.

FFX is takig up all my gaming time anyway.

Yea the game is great, cant fault it anywhere, the atmosphere is fantastic especially the Arnhem Knights level, It has a great background tune,(kinda like opera) but its the level that I felt the most emotion in (Im not a ponce before you start) I just couldnt believe that a computer game could make you feel the way it does. With the music going it actually started to inspire me to complete the level (anyone else find that or am I just strange) and protect my other AI controled mates.
Anyone who doesnt have this game NEEDS it.

We i completed it the other day, and the levels really get more intense, i could tell you a load of spoilers if you like, but im sure you dont want some.

I kinda went through the same stage as you, after about the 5th level i stopped, and did'nt think about it for a couple of days. Then i picked up the controls again and the missions got better and better. From the tranquil Dutch countryside, to storming arnhem, the missions are really varied. Its a top notch FPS, but i suppose some people just dont have the patience with it.

Yeah the game is superb, I brought it with me bday money and it's worth every penny.

I like the first level. It is truly the best level in the game. And I also like the music to it really sets the scene.
