But I found it wierd. I knew I was playing an absolutely brilliant game, as atmospheric and realistic as any. But for some reason I feel flat once I stop - I don't know if that's down to the intensity of play, or what.
I'm interested - what are you thoughts on the game? I dont want any 'its wicked' comments, but proper opinions on the game.
Thanks.
:)
I have completed MOH and almost completed MOH: Underground (both on PS1) but I only have a demo of frontline yet it still blew me away. The graphics are great, but it's the way the walls fall all around you, music sends an emotional messege and comrades get swept up in the violence. I didnt think any game could better GTA3 for a long time but Frontline is coming close.
Thanx for all the positive comments, I will now force my mum to give me the money....
It could be that I just haven't got into it yet or haven't gotten used to the controls but I'm not greatly impressed so far.
FFX is takig up all my gaming time anyway.
Anyone who doesnt have this game NEEDS it.
I kinda went through the same stage as you, after about the 5th level i stopped, and did'nt think about it for a couple of days. Then i picked up the controls again and the missions got better and better. From the tranquil Dutch countryside, to storming arnhem, the missions are really varied. Its a top notch FPS, but i suppose some people just dont have the patience with it.
I like the first level. It is truly the best level in the game. And I also like the music to it really sets the scene.
