Just got broadband sorted out, with Activation on the 19th and recieving my modem today.

Just really wanted to know who will be able to play Halo online, once I get my NIC for my PC.

Hopefully I should have it sorted out soon - my cousin Lee should have a cable I can use. :-) ::fingertips together:: Excellent.

As for you Cyclone - damn you and your comp that can handle more than solitaire ! Damn you both to hell ! ;-))

Ummm, make sure the cable connecting your XBox and PC together is a cross-over cable mate. Other than that, you seem pretty set to go.

Well my Dad's gone to pick up this comp now so I'll be downloading the stuff tonight. :-) Is there anything else I'll need ? Just to make sure I'm not left with any surprises. ;-)

i have the NTL:Home broadband internet connection for £14.99 a month, thats 128kbps, i guess thats fine?

I'll try and order the NIC and cable very soon, as i'll order it with the pack of 50 700mb cds that ill need soon, as I only have 26 left and they'll be gone in a week or 2. At the moment Iam just enjoying the speed of web browsing and downloading.

I downloaded Xbconnect which is suppose to be the best. I've heard that each person on each Xbox needs 128kbps upload to play Halo online. I have 256Kbps upload like most people, so 2 people can play on my Xbox at one time with a reasonable ping. So 4 player team games on Blood Gulch could be fun with all vehicles.

I only really got it going today. Went down Maplin's this morning and picked up another Network Card and a 5m cross-over cable, had about 5 of us going this morning though, which was great fun.

Can't remember the name of the stage, but the stage was quite big and littered with the Ghost, Tank, Sniper Rifle etc...

So whats the biggest game you've been involved in so far ? 16 player ? :-)

Really can't wait for X-Box Live with the likes of Phantasy Star Online, Star Wars Galaxies, Unreal Championship and Mech Assault all on the way.
