Deal with it.

I take it everyone will be removing their flags from the car and homes, even though we are still England?

Go Brazil - you played much better than England and your goalkeeper isn't stupid.
He was almost crying, in front of millions of people.

Hell, remember England got to the Semi Final of Italia '90 but didnt even qualify for USA 94 :)

Although England are a team with a lot of young players that can only get better...

Ah, that'd explain why I haven't seen many around.

I didn't say it was - I was just telling it like it is in many parts of the country. It's already happened in Milton Keynes during the World Cup, with taxi drivers being told they can't fly their flags.

What I'm having a go here is not the minorities, but the bloody lefty councils and such telling their own countrymen not to fly the flag. THAT'S what sickens me.

Anyway, now I've hopefully cleared that up... I agree, let's not get into it again.

Yeah Heskey held the ball up well and also made some excellent runs. I don't think he deserves the badmouthing he gets from people. Butt managed to shine in the absence of Stevie Gerrard (Gerrard is still one of the best players this country has though). I was pretty disappointed in Scholes, I don't think he really showed up much in the matches. Rio Ferdinand has definatly raised his price tag when it comes to any interested clubs now. ;-)

Again though, we're left with a few "what if" thoughts. Personally I think we really needed Gerrard in that midfield - damn injuries !
