If you ordered one in May you should geyt yours soon I ordered mine 1st May and got mine yesterday ;0) and it is a cool console so is the controler.
I am a long time SR customer, i bought my playstation and many a game for my other consoles, I know theres not much they can do if they have no stock but i would appreciate being given some idea of when mine will come, I ordered it in the evening after going out to every shop in croydon, figs-marsh and wimbledon. MY shopping journey was done by bus and very tiring and dis-heartening, must have asked over 50 times and got the same answer.
What anoys me is that no one knew the gamecube was selling so well?
As usual the computer games buisness is being quiet, why didnt they say in the papers or anywhere else that the gamecube was selling fast?
I thought i was being wise waiting a while before buying a gc but turns out i would have been better buying one on the release date.
It seams i cant get it right with Nintendo, I pre ordered my N64 and got it just after it came out for £250 with nothing but one controller.
So i didnt wanna fall for that again. :(
I just cant win, i have already bought NBA courtside and smash bros and a memory card and controller, they are sitting in my room very lonely.
I would like some compensation but it probably would take longer than my gc to show up. I will come back and post again when i get mine but dont wait up guys.

In leicester, EVERY shop had sold except for the 2 Smiths stores (we missed the last GC in the first one, and there were still a several left in the second). This was about a month back though.
Try an independant games retailer (one that's not part of a big chain).
Another World had some Gamecube's but only in bundles that I had no money for.
