I'm breathless and mindful
with no words to describe
the wonderful warmth
I feel down inside
you're caring and loving and beyond what I asked for
and I can honestly say that I will never want more
because I've never felt happier
and I don't think I will
and my heart won't stop beating
my mind won't lie still
the love that feels like no other
not like for a mother
sister or brother
the smile that reaches deep down to my heart
and I'll fight to keep that emotion in cart...
Can we ride hand in hand down the rough roads of wonder?
Not duck from the lightning or hide from the thunder
but face it together
face it as one
for the life is the rain
and you are the sun
or maybe the other way round
I don't really know
maybe you're just the wind
and life is the snow
and I want to watch so much
as it falls to the ground
twisting and turning in the sky all around
but what really matters
and I so try to show
is that you're just the balance
so beautiful to know
the reason for living
an addition of life
guess I'm just the fork
and you're just the knife...
But I can't say that
because as much as I wish for it to be true
it's impossible to think you love me
well
as much as I do.
Not that I don't feel it
it's not that at all...
but it's too hard to believe
to hard to have trust
that the deepness I feel
and try as I must
just cannot be real...
it doesn't feel fake
but it keeps me awake
I lie in disbelief
try so hard to sleep
it's just too good to be true
for the world has been opened
the bars taken away
and I just lie so spoken
with nothing to say
but the above abridged
into words so meaningful
for my heart doesn't skip a beat
but beats twice at once
and I'll think what I've said
and it's all just so true
but just all that I'll say
is that I love you
