But what of PS2 owners?
What of XBOX owners?
How many games are these people likely to have?
My estimations:
GC - average 4 games per console owner
PS2 - average 3 games per console owner
XBOX - 1.1 games per console owner
(I'm at risk of sounding like a Ninty here)
Thoughts, opinions??
I've got 7 soon to be 8 games on my GC and I love them all, when you consider that it's only been out just over a month that's a hell of a lot of good games. Silly thing is there's still quite a few games out at the moment that I want and there's tons more to come.
The GC was so cheap that people bought it with extra money that they had, so they had to scrape around to buy lots of games (i know that i did).
People were saving for the Xbox, but not for the GC.
Also the Xbox only came with 3-4 games in bundles.
I have 23 Dreamcast games. All classics. The worst one is Mortal Kombat Gold, which i got free from SR. 22 Classic games on one console. Beat that

I think you're accurate with the Gamecube. I've actually got 4 games.
The PS2 owners will likely have more (seeing as they'll have had the machine longer) and the Xbox was initially sold in bundles of atleast 3 games and with all the reward packs, I'd expect the average Xbox owner to have in the region of 3-5 games.
Game Boy Advance (can't be bothered to count - roughly 15)
Game Boy Color (can't be bothered to count - roughly 15)
Game Boy (you know what - roughly 30)
N64 (see Game Boy)
SNES (See Game Boy Advance)
PC - over 100
ZX Spectrum - over 200
Dreamcast - 17
Playstation (and PS2) - roughly 15
Anything else I've missed is due to tiredness.
17 PS2 games.
Although I have had PS2 for nearly a year now...
I only had 3 PS2 games after a month of owning it.
Just for the sake of it...
I've got about 35 N64 games...
4 GBA games
8 SNES games
100+ Amiga games (SWOS is THE game to own)
7 PSone games

Why would you include demo's?
Are you insane?
In Japan the Xbox ratio is better than the GC ratio. But remember that less Xboxs have been sold anyway. The PS2 was lagging in last when I last checked.
In America the Xbox leads the way (again)- it had about 3:1 games:consoles after release, and the ratio hasn't dipped. The GC ratio was lower at the start, about 1.5:1. This is probably because the people who forked out for an Xbox at release were the "serious" gamers.
In Europe... who knows!
But who cares? The PS2 has about a billion more units out there, and is still beating everything else for sales!
Sonic
but when you include all of the demos from magazines the figure is 29
Jesus Christ.
