I would advise extremely to get Pikmin, I played it in GAME on sturday as sonn as the shop opened and it's amazing, visually it is awesome and gameplay wise it is very good. I only got to play the first level because I had to go to work but I'm definately going to get it at the end of the month. It's one of those games by Nintendo which looks like a Kiddy title but this game is definately one for all ages.
A not on the adverts, I always thought when the N64 was out Nintendo needed to do much more advertising and now they are. I am always flicking though the channels and seeing a GC ad on, also they are advertising in mens magazines now (no not thise ones) like Loaded, FHM, Fast Car and Max Power also a promising sign from Nintendo, trying to steer away from their old image.

Nintendo definately have their advertising strategy worked out well...they almost always have a Super Smash Brothers Advert around Big Brothers Breaks and Pikmin somewhere around there to. Plus, yesterday, the played the Agent Under Fire Advert twice around that time as well.

Metroid games were first seen on the NES, which were incredibly great games. They are a series about a woman called Samus, who was the lone survivor of a space colony. The bird-like race called the Choza 9I think) fused thei rblood into her suit, giving her special abilities. In Metroid fusion, Samus gets bitten by an alien and it starts to kill her slowly. She fuses with a metroid to keep her alive, until she kills all of the little dudes that bit her. In Metroid Prime, it takes on a FPS viewpoint (the others were platformers) and it is expected to be quality.

Well, Metroid Prime. Did you ever play the Metroid game on the SNES?

Its like, a FPS set in the distant future. Its really cool and you shoot aliens and it has an adventre side to it, its not all trigger finger. Its really really quality.
