coming to the xbox???

From what I read on xbox.ign.com, the Xbox version off Allied Assult has been dropped and replaced with an Xbox version of Frontline. MS wanted EA to wait and put online elements into AlliedAssult but as EA are lazy and want to make a fast buck, they said no and now they are going to bash out a quick port.

And I'm not that bothered about the game as I played it on my friends PS2 the other day and I was left feeling very unimpressed. The controls stink, the graphics are merely OK and there isn't even a Multiplaer option in sight. Levels are all very liner and it can be completed rather quickly according to my friend. Oh and I saw the ending sequence, it was crap. Most games end with a climax but in the case of Frontline, the first level is the best, and the rest don't match it.

Multiplayer options, combat and control improvements are what are needed before I get interested in the Xbox version.

Yeh, allied assualt would be better though, it was excellent on the pc.

so both are coming to the xbox sweet! I have frontline on the ps2 its rather good

Its Frontline that is coming to the Xbox and is sue out within the next 3 months. Allied Assault is due out when Xbox live is as they are waiting for Online capabilities! Hope this cleared things up.
