All this online gaming...is it really worth it? I mean like spending loads on a hard drive and stuff to connect up with. There's no point, if you want multiplayer gaming you should get a multi-tap and invite some mates over. It's not all bad though because you could get new levels and stuff for your games. All I'm saying is that I think that Sony and whoever makes all the rest of the stuff should lower the price of it all so that it is worth buying.

Ahhhh but it still affects you! FF11 for example. There is no way that the one player will be as good as it would be had there been no online play (that's if there even is a one play). And, the PS2 isn't cheaper. It's the same price. And don't go on about that DVD crap. It isn't esential, whereas a memory card for the PS2 is.

This is the problem with playstation 2 you have to buy extras, where as xbox its all in one. In my opinion the playsation 2 is way over priced compared tot he xbox.

Getting mates round aint' a bad idea, but my mates like WWF Smackdown and Fifa, where I go for the more tactical games like MGS2, POW, Medal of Honour etc.
These games would be great with extra downloadable levels and internet gaming. I dont think its a rip off! It'll be great when it finally happens...
