Been looking for this for absolutely ages. Before I even came to SR. Couldn't buy it anywhere, and still can't.
So, as you can't buy it in the shops, I'd have a good guess that you won't mind you giving you a link for the game?
Excellent.
Anyway. It's called Albion, and it's an RPG. I played the demo of it years ago, and it lasted me AGES. Loads of stuff to do, cool little developing plot line, just good fun if you like this sort of thing, game to come back to inbetween revision sort of thing. Or even if you're new to RPG's, and you're interested in what they could be like. This was the first I played, and I loved it. Cool arcady graphics too.
Excellent. Hope it's as good as I remembered.

You can get it there.

monkey....
You knob.
Put the link in the browser, and click on the download bit there.
Right. Then, with winrar, double click on Albion.ace, and extract it to c:\Albion or something.
Then all the files will come out, all the exes and stuff.
THEN. When you've done that, add a new directory called "Saves" to the Albion directory. Otherwise you can't save.
Then, all done. Run Setup to get the sound going, then run albion.exe, and enjoy. Mouse driven, left click to move, hold the right mouse button and drag the little box onto anything to get a menu for that object. Right click on the face at the bottom to get menus too. Just mess around.
Soon as you've got it working, give me another shout.
[I just met the no-fur-cat people who have REAL difficulties with putting bras on straight. It's quite funny.]

wake up?
Bearing in mind that I'm not a tech-head, i'm stuck and confused. The install notes say to run a SETUP.EXE and an ALBION.BAT, but I can't find any of those files in the zips.
Am I being a complete numpty? and if so, can someone explain how to stop being a numpty.
