And if The N64 version is anything to go by then This version ought to be a "Rare Treat". *Cough* Exuse The Pun.
Perfgect Dark is just one of those games whether you either love it to bits or you hate it's dusty circuits.
Perfect Dark Is a game which was originally developed by RareWare and considered by most to be the most thrilling shoot em up game ever.
Perfect Dark had a rather Unique First person veiw to the N64.
The reason being that not many shoot em ups on the N64 have a first person veiw.
The main talking point of Perfect Dark was that It had high quality Graphics and very addictive gameplay.
Even though you needed a Memory Exspansion pak in order to play Perfect Dark to it's full Capapilities it was still a fantastic game.
one thing that was carried from Goldeneye to PD was the Difficulty level Idea.
Which has always worked out well for me.
PD also had an easy to navigate pause menu.
It saves a lot a grief and a lot of scrolling through weapons.
Perfect Dark on the N64 was by far the best Game on the N64.
But now times are changing and we must move on with technology.
And so brings Perfect Dark to the X-box.
I think that by bringing PD to the X-box will give a huge booost to X-box sales.
Why?
Because of Perfect Darks popularity and past sucsess.
But it may result in many Ninty fans turning to the "Dark Side Of The Force" but that's unlikely.
We don't know if PD on the X-box will be any good or not but when it arrives we're sure to find out.So Ninty Fans hold on tight cos we're in for one hell of a ride.
But Putting a romour like that on the front page?
They must be pretty sure of themselves.
They like their 'jokes'.
> Ninty and RARE are very close............I hope!
But so were Ninty and Squaresoft once and that went pear-shaped. It was only recently that Nintendo swallowed their pride and got Square back in the picture, but Square are still making games for Sony now.
Thing is with Rare, they haven't confirmed about going multiformat, but they haven't rushed out pledging their loyalty to Nintendo either. So wether Nintendo and Rare have fallen out or not, I think Rare may be looking to push their games out to a wider audience. If they do, good luck to them cause they make good games and they'll get plenty of money back from the venture.

Because RARE worked with HAL to make the game as did every other company on the bloody planet.

Tee hee hee!
Grrrrrr......................!
You see RARE's contract is coming to an end, negotiations are going on between Nintendo but it is natural others will have a look, doesn't mean a thing. The X-box rumours was stupidly put on the front cover of XBM magazine, silly silly people. Rare may go multiformat, even if they did games would still be developed on the cube and ported to the other consoles, they may be similtaneous (i doubt it though) but it will be designed around cube hardware, because RARE know it best. And even if games do appear elsewhere I wouldn't be surprised if the cube version has 22 levels as opposed to x-box's 20. But then we could all be wrong, yes E3 was worrying, no Kameo, no DK racing and Donkey Kong+ isn't being made by RARE. But then again Starfox Adventures were there in full force, it is the game that needs most publicity as it will be released sooner than the others and so it is understandable that is all RARE showed, and more to the point RARE didn't announce the multiformat decision at E3, does that tell you anything?
I don't know, I'm confused but soon i hope to hear which publisher will buy into RARE and considering Nintendo are buying back shares and just bought Retro Studio's i don't think money is the problem.

ummmmmm....me seeing as its Perfect Dark 2 - Red Faction 2 and MOH can't hold a candle to even the first title (in terms of depth, gameplay and all that stuff)
