I doubt we'll ever get the Q, no release set even for America! It's one of those Japan only things like the Double-D for N64.
The different coloured PS2s you were on about were limited edition ones (I can't rememer the actual figures but I remember being told that each country that actually had them were given 400 different coloured units). They wont, at least not until the PS2 starts going downhill like the PSX, be mass released in the UK.

at least we can have different colour console's
i know the ps2 has diferent colours planned (ever seen on pic and the coloure didn't look good) and i here their a silver xbox but only in japan
i expect Nintendo to with the Cube what they did with N64 for colours and pokamon as well.
the big qusetion is will we get the sexy looking Qcube, the DVD one to shut the other console up. the trouble is, stand alones are better. the cube was designed for games!!!!

Quality - My GC shall return covered in yellow with a lovely pink LED and buttons! ;-)
The purple is actualy very nice! I was not sure, but it looks lovely!

you can send your cube to specialist hardware companies in japan etc who will change the colour of your cube by ainting it. they will also chip it to play imports and give it a different coloured LED
