Theyve released Inamoto on a Free Transfer today..

After his brilliant showing for JapaN in the World Cup I would have thought they may have given him another go, let's face it he hardly kicked a ball last season,

Either that or they could have sold him on and made a few bob after the WC...

Wookie, even you can't agree with this surely?

It doesn't make sense.

The latest rumour is that he wants to prove himself in England without Wenger's assistance is about to sign for Fulham.

Ah, I've just seen a story on Sky.com

Wenger says he isn't released, and Gordon Taylor says he is.

Given the fact that Gordon Taylor is a pillock, I know who I'd believe.

We'll see what transpires over the summer!

Where have you heard this?

There's no mention of it on Teamtalk or on the Arsenal site.

Last I heard (yesterday), clubs were interested, but Wenger had made no decision.

If it is true, then it does seem strange given his recent showing.

But he has never produced any form like this in his games for Arsenal (and he has played in several games). He's always looked very nervous.

As for the revenue he could generate - that's true, but unless he plays, that will dry up quickly.

I think it's more to do with the players we are apparently bringing to Highbury than what he has or hasn't done when he's played for us.

I'll be sorry to see him go, given his current form. But I'll see what else happense before I cry about it.

Yep, they've lost it!!

The chances are high that even if Vieira doesn't leave, he'll still be missing a load of games through suspensions! So they'd need someone to come in his place during those times.... INAMOTO!

He's also been on great form this summer, and that would've kept him on a high for a return to the Premiership in August/September.

But for FREE????
With the way he's been playing you could've got at least £5m for him!!

Wenger never really gave him a chance! :P
But then again, he IS Japanese and not French!

In terms of him making 'a few bob' for us, we bought him for 4Million but apparently he was worth over double that in merchandising alone.

You know how the Japs get all excited about their decent players.

A hefty transfer fee would have been nice too though.

It's obvious why he went. He didn't speak French like the rest of the entire squad :-)

They dumped him before the World cup begain, so they wernt to know he would shine on the world stage like he has...

Although they must be kicking themselves now...

Inamoto is a good player but I how you can say the Gunners have "lost it" I can't quite fathom. Arsene Wenger obviously knows what he is doing, afterall, they did win the double.
