My thoughts exactly.

I think the ref was in danger of loosing control of the game and wanted to stamp down his authority.

Henry was the unlucky guy to be on the wrong end of it.

You can't say that Henry has a habit of chopping players down, like Keane.

It was a classic center forwards tackle, and should have been treated as such, with a yellow card.

The French won't hate Henry, he just put in a rash tackle. The Beckham thing was different cos what Beckham did was stupid, Henry just made an honest mistake.
Bit of a mickey take though how Henry got sent off yet Dario Silva the cheating little goon didn't.

Got nothing to do with Arsenal, mate. He wasn't playing for Arsenal!

I genuinely think it was a very harsh decision. It wasn't from behind, he only just missed the ball, and the Uruaguay player could have avoided the challenge. The guy went so far up in the air it was ridiculous! Even a yellow would have been harsh.

You thought wrong then. I'm not a fan of Beckham, and I can't stand Keane - but the fact is, it wasn't that bad a challenge.

If France win 2-0 they will have goal difference of +1, and Denmark would be -1.

If Uruguay also beat Senegal 1-0 Urugauy would have GD of 0 and Senegal 0. Uruguay and France would go through, with France group winners.

If France only win 1-0 they would have the same goal difference as Denmark, but Denmark would have scored 2 goals in total, and France only 1. France would have a GD of 0, and would not go through as Uruguay would have scored more goals.

BUT if France win 2-1 their record; points, GD and goals scored would be identical to Denmarks, but they would have beaten Denmark, so would come above them - unless another team also shares the exact same record - then it gets complex.

Basically, it will be one of Denmark and France, and one of Uruguay and Senegal. I tip Senegal and Denmark.
