My machine seems to be very 'jumpy' all of a sudden. When I say 'jumpy' I mean the computer just slows right down and doesn't respond imideatly, and if I click a few time, or type a few words they all suddenly happen and respond at once.

Any reason why this is??? That system resorce monitor on Win98 says there is 70% Free recorses, so it can't be lack of Memory, can it?

Is your hard drive nearly full as this can greatly reduce speed also a small amount of ram can make things slower, i suggest keep you hard drive under 60% full (just to make sure) and if you have 128MB ram or under then get another 128MB, also check the heat of the cpu, maybe get a ram scrubbing software of line as windows tends to kep unused dll's after programs finish and after a while this will slow your system down.

hope i was of help mate

the soundcard could be installed wrong, so that every time a request is sent to it, even if a sound is not playing, the computer will slow down as it deals with the false request....

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
