I'm slightly concerned that any minute now I'm going to explode into a load of red damp chunks. You see, my stomach has been a-bubbling and a-rumbling for the last few weeks.

I've had dinner, so it's not as though I'm hungry, but I didn't eat too much, so I'm not full.

The weird thing is, the bubbling noises aren't coming from my stomach, they're coming from lower down, and slightly to the side. It feels strange as I can actually feel the bubbles moving around.

It doesn't hurt, I've just been farting a fair bit recently, and they've been real stinkers as well.

So, I pose it to you, Mr Reader: Am I about to explode?

I think it's just wind as I eat my food REAL fast. Might go to the chemists and see if they have any indigestion stuff they can recommend to me.

Or I could just have worms. Nice.

If you have appendicitus, your gut will feel hard in the affected area. Unless it's too well padded, of course ;)

A few weeks you said you've had this? Do make sure someone lets us know when the funeral is. Cheers.

I'm no doctor, but lower to thestomach and to one side could be a couple of things.

Could it be a grumbling appendix? If so, that could well explode, killing you with it. If it hurts go to a doctor.

It could just as well be kidneys or something, sometimes you get a similar feeling to hunger, only to the side, if you haven't taken in enough liquids (beer doesn't count). Do you drink much water? If not, try drinking a couple of extra glasses a day, see if it takes the problem away.

Now I've probably just scared you, when I don't really have much of a clue, just guesswork from what I've heard and stuff.

'Apparently' if you lots of bananas then you can explode... something to do with chemicals reacting hydrochloric acid in stomach.
