How arrogant of Germany in the second half to play like they did at the back *shakes fist*, but the result could mean that when Cameroon meet Germany (presuming Cameroon make short work of Saudi Arabia) then both teams will need just a draw to go through *cough theres going to be a fix cough*
It was a great result - I think the Irish deserved to win in the end! They have a great chance now of qualifying!

Yeh but if you watched the game you would have seen Ireland play with passion and confidence which England severly lacks.

I couldn't believe that was the Rebublic of Ireland out there - they were on fire to say the least!

Any team that can lose 1-0 to Wales is going to have problems.
Don't forget that England beat Germany 5-1. A 1-1 draw is hardly a respectable result. A decent team would have beaten the Germans. The Irish should be ashamed.
