I had some days in court, but for others, not for me driving. I have a clean licence, believe it or not.

Did you get to keep the piccy as a souvenir of your day in court?

Actually I was planning to rent cars that look like the one's owned by the people that work in the Camera Enforcement Office in Billericay, then put their number plates on and drive them throught the cameras.
The other day I went past a fixed camera in Chelmford and 50 yards up the road was a van with a mobile camera hidden behind it, to catch the people who speed away from the fixed camera. Ba**ar* nearly got me.

Billericay's claim to fame is being the centre of the speed camera universe. A speed camera is something which is used throughout Essex to reduce the number of motorists by banning them (assuming multiple offences) for doing 42 MPH in the dead of night on a long straight road, wide enough for a Jubilee parade and devoid of all other traffic and pedestrians.
These devices are only aimed at white, middle class areas where people can afford the fines. Minority areas don't have them.
I wonder why we put up with this in Essex. Maybe we should all hoot every time we pass a speed camera.

I think of Ant whenever I see the word Billericay too. Maybe they make sugar there or something.
Made me think of the little guy.
