I'm not bashing royalty - I know we need a head of Monarchy to cement our independence and give us a friendly face abroad for all sorts of PR nonsense. It's the music that annoyed me. A concert devoid of style and talent, filled with the bland 'popstars' that we see on tele everyday. Sure they had Ozzie, but it became a novelty act (like a dancing bear - dangerous, but safely held back).
I think Liquid News (a programme run by the BBC and hosted on BBC Choice) said it best: "Bland, middle of the road has-beens", I believe the phrase was. Cheers BBC - you made me cry...with laughter!
I'm downloading it now.

Paranoid.
I know this is a real thick question, but I recognised it and it's been driving me mad 'cos I can't remember what it's called!
Argh!
But Joe Cocker was the best by a mile.

Nope, Believe it or not S Club 7 were singing LIVE!

One of them goes to my school, another one goes to another school near me... :c)
Saying that, they may be annoying but that song is really annoyingly catchy...
and anther thing... Ben Elton must die.
I actually enjoyed the concert, though I agree about the queen looking bored. It was a concert for 40-year olds. And the queen didn't choose the performances, it was all done by the BBC.

That was Brian Wilson - the genius who wrote the music for the BEACH Boys...they're not made of wood :D
Also, he had a stroke some time ago. If you've ever seen a stroke victim before the you'd know that he was actually pretty lively.
> mmm..no Sex Pistols, what was up with that?
yeh, a Sex Pistols revival playing God Save the Queen......
