Hey i am buildin a new website and wanted to know how i can make it more attractive. Should i have the same colour for the page background or should i change it for different topics.

I see. What evidence do you have to support this? My defence is that the most used and famous web sites in the world do not use frames.

There is a reason why they don't use frames. That reason is because even if you use them "properly", they still break the users' perception of what is going on. Users can't book mark specific pages. They don't work in some browers. People who find it hard to see and who use text-to-speech browsers will find they can't get past the first frame. Search engines will not spider the site, and if they do, they won't spider it correctly. It creates more pages for the web designer / developer to maintain, therefore, more chance of something breaking.

does anyone know how to change/get rid of the ugly default dividers that split frames?
