Oh yeah a review of the Q and the mod-importers can be found at

http://cube.ign.com

And it's unlikely that the GC disks can hold 4.6Gb, unless they utilise the power of blue lasers. Which they can't.

Its weird that Nintendo only bought out the Q in Japan. I would have thought that Japan would have been the country to best appreciate the GameCube's 'games only' stance. Besides, Japan is influxed with technology and DVD players now anyway. It would have made more sense to release Q in America, only I'm not sure If they're going to or not.

The Q has been completely modded by a company to play DVDs through regions 1-6, it has been modded to have the US/Jap switch as well. That package sets Americans back around $400 dollars (about £300) which I think is a good deal. Remember you get one controller and a remote for that too.

The DVD playback is the best out of the three (four) consoles and it has a bunch of sound options as well for those tech-freaks with good sound systems.

Now all we need is an opposite to the Action Replay, where NTSC machines can play PAL games, then the modded Q would be a perfect machine!

If the PS2 can run both 1.5gb DVDs and the 4.6gb ones, do you think in the Future the GC will have 4.6gb 8cm DVD game?

The Q will be able to run both ordinary 1.5gb Gamecube discs (obviously) along with the 4.6gb DVD discs. There's no need to worry about having 2 or 3 discs because the DVD player is fine it'll run the standard discs.
Doesn't the PS2 run on just 1.5gb DVDs aswell as play DVDs? I'm pretty sure they do.
