They sent me a brand new PS2, it was brought in one of them courier vans. They collect your old one and give you a new one, the person on the phone will tell you everything that you need to know.

You need to ring the Sony number thats given in all the manuals of games, they are the ones in the UK. I had the same problem last November, its the DVD drive in your PS2 unit thats gone and so it wont play them, if you still have your warranty they will replace it for free, if not then still ring them, they still might send you a new one free and if not it wont cost you as much to replace it.
