Brazil, Turkey, what a match.
However, I couldn't help feeling sorry for the Turks. Although they seemed to lose it in the second half a bit, I still think they deserved the draw if you look at how well they played despite being up against one of the worlds best teams. That penalty, wasn't a penalty, so I felt really sorry for them when that went in.
And Rivaldo's dive... I've never seen one so much pathetic. He may be a good player, and may have played exceedingly well in that game, but that's just not on. And Ronaldo for the penalty made sure he dived as much forward into the penalty area as possible to make sure the referee gave them that penalty.
World class football ruined by some bad sportmans in my opinion. Everyone wants to win, but I thought their attitude like many other footballers attitudes were not on.
People who dive spoil the beautiful game in my opinion. Comments?

The ending spoiled one of the best matches of the tournament so far. I'd be surprised if Rivaldo wasn't fined. How can he justify that. That said Hakan Unsal shouldn't have kicked the ball at him.
Yes he probably shouldn't have kicked the ball at him. But you can't really blame him, I'd be frustrated if I'd gone from a draw to a lose in an important game like that. Still he should have kept cool.

I thought that because he was in that much pain he'd been hit by a coin from the crowd or something!

Turkey were quite unlucky in some ways, but Brazil just walked all-over them. They had a few chances that they could've scored, but they would've lost at least 5-0 if Brazil hadn't choked on so many occasions!
I still don't know how they messed up with that late almost open goal!

Dont you think Hansen and co overrated Brazil a bit too much after the game? They wernt all that amazing...And Turkey should have scored an equaliser just before the end with that header.
And they seem to be making quite a few jokes about Ronaldo's teeth! :)

Ok, it was a free kick, not a penalty, but that the linesman decision so we can't really do anything about it, these things happen. And the Rivaldo thing, yes, it may be a nomination for next years Oscars, but the guy would have been booked anyway even if Rivaldo didn't make a deal of it because you cannot kick the ball at someone. It was his nd yellow so he would have been off anyway. I still think Brazil were the better of the teams and deserved to scrape the victory

Personally I think Brazil deserved the draw, Turkey played well and created good chances but Brazil were the better team on the day and had a goal chopped off which wasn't offside. Rivaldos dive was over the top but at the end of the day you can't kick the ball like that at another player, whether it hit him in the face or not.
Just like when Ray Wilkins threw the ball in the direction of the ref and got sent off.

Turkey aren't the only unlucky ones. Japan should have won their game against Belgium. Inamoto's 2nd goal was perfectly good, and should have been allowed to stand.
