Since my telephone is converted into both analogue and digital lines, and a filter is used to seperate them, would my xbox brodband modem be able to use the digital line?
Theoretically, i can't see any problems, but since i'm not an expert I thought i'd seek confirmation.
Anybody got any help/ideas???

UNREAL CHAMPIONSHIP (oooh!)
QUAKE 4 (aaah!)
HALO 2 (Oh jesus! I just wet myself with anticipation!!!!)
The game finds a list of the servers, etc, but when I double click on a game, I get a screen saying 'Connection Failed' and 'Press Esc to continue'. This sucks, as you can imagine, and I think it has something to do with Windows XP. Any ideas?
To be honest, I think i can remember something like that happening to me though. I downloaded the latest patch which fixed the version number and any issues with Windows ME.
Maybe you should give that a try, if it aint that, try getting in touch with unreal's technical support or something.

it'll work as the x box has an ethernet adapter and it ADSL which i guess is what your on about isn't digital it's using higher analogue signals and the filter filters these out so you don't hear them on the phone.
it's almost how your old dial up modem works, also it might not work as MS might have there own service for the online play.

It probably wont work using Freeserve as MS will have there own service, but the Digital line will be ok to use. MS will have support for both cable and ADSL so at least you have the broadband line in your house ready. MS will probably have there own monthly subscription service so you'll need to pay for that as well as your Freeserve monthly subscription.
How much did it cost?
How much is it monthly?
Are all day calls and internet included?
How many KB/S does it download at?
What did you do to get it?
Thanks!

It cost £84.99 from Dixons, its £30 a month flat rate and you just buy it from dixons. It does say it takes up to 10 working days to set up but mine took about 16/17.

That's what i was supposed to mean. I knew the freeserve service wouldn't do it, I asked them, I just wasn't sure about the line. Thanks anyway for the confirmation!
