datel are releasing a new action replay which enables you to play import games if you save the data to a memory card.

there are two versions:

£29.99 which is a cheat cartridge and import player

£19.99 only plays import.

i really want the £19.99 version but i cant find it anywhere (i'm aware its not out until 15th june)and also i was wondering, can you save import games on a UK memory card?

probably been said and asked a million times but oh well some assitance would be lovely.

I think Sonic's right, when you get the Memory cardsa you need to format them they do this because different regions format the cards differently so I would be highly suprised if you can save PAL and NTSC saves on the same card. Not that i'm bothered i've already got 3 memory cards and I seem to get a free one with every game I buy.

What I think is this...

The memory cards in each territory is identical, but they store data in different formats. Now, I could be wrong about this, but I believe I heard it when people began to do US/Jap importing.

That means that you CAN use import cards for UK games, and vice versa, but the question is whether you can store import and UK games on the same card?

Even is the answer is no, it doesn't bother me... I'll just get 3 cards, and save loads on games!

No tony we know that all memory cards are the same, but Sonicrav thought that NTSC games save their data differently to PAL ones. He reckons that we can't put PAL and NTSC saves on the same card.

and the idea of getting:

soul calibur 2
mario kart
mario sunshine
zelda
metroid prime
1080 2
starfox adventures

roughly 6 months before the UK is the f****** greatest feeling...

Nah mate, thats in Canadian Dollers. They are selling it for $42.63 US dollers.

$2.2 can = £1 UK (roughly)

It works out to £28 which is superb.

The controller took a week or two to arrive, I got Mario advance 2 from them about a week after release.
