Well, Grix does it all the time, why can't I? I feel like writing a poem or something.

In a darkness, I do lay
And I hear as I lie, the dark drifts and canyons of thoughts
A quiet voice that speaks

It's suprisingly beautiful, a breath of luxury
As I feel it against my eye lids as they are kissed
A reward for being me

But I try
I try so hard
To just understand
Just this once
Why the voice never stays
Why it shivers and sways
And it'll fall before me
Before I even see
That I was just being selfish and wanting the voice
When all it wanted back
Was the same soft whisper
That it had given so dearly
And loved me so nearly
Because I felt so proud

And I smile in acceptance
As it's taken away
And I realise
After all
It was only my voice speaking
All along
