I have an interview there tomorrow morning for a weekend and holiday job. Hopefully I will get it, they seem quite desperate so looks like im in with a shot. I kinda forgot to ask about the pay but I hear you get a 20% or 25% discount card, which will be nice.

Has anyone here worked there before, or know someone who does? If so what are your/there opinions of working there?

Thanks
Chris

I might get a Gamecube from Woolies, nobody will buy from the one in Upminster so they have probably got loads of GCs piling up!

My mate worked in Woolies for about five years while he was at school and as an undegraduate. He seemed to enjoy it OK. Most importantly, however, he introduced me to one of his fit colleagues at a works' night out. So if not for youself, take the job for your sad mates with no girlfriends.

I have a large vendetta with staff at our local Woolworths. On several occassions, they have managed to really annoy me, and seriously, that's pretty difficult to do.

My best example would be for asking me for ID when I'm buying a kids game.

"The computer says you have to be over 18."

I force her to read the "SUITABLE FOR OVER THREES" notice, and by then, she decides to go get her supervisor.

So hey, good luck getting the job. Sounds difficult to get in.
