I have an interview there tomorrow morning for a weekend and holiday job. Hopefully I will get it, they seem quite desperate so looks like im in with a shot. I kinda forgot to ask about the pay but I hear you get a 20% or 25% discount card, which will be nice.

Has anyone here worked there before, or know someone who does? If so what are your/there opinions of working there?

Thanks
Chris

Thanks

And by the way we watched videos on all the age restriction stuff and they advise you not to serve a 15 to anyone who looks under 18 without ID or an 18 to someone who doesnt look under 21. It may be weird but it must be the right way, as there was a video on it. We sat through 10 videos, oh my god it was boring.

Was this in the Woolworths in Whitley Bay by any chance?

I actually had a similar experience. The game was DOA (15) and the computer said it was an eighteen, took about 15 minutes to eventually convince her to sell it to me.

Hmm so im back. No news if I have it yet, but they said they should contact by next weekend. First we went over my aplication form, then there was loads of questions like 'why do you want to work at woolworths?' and you had to think of answer expect 'cos i want money'. Then he gave me this survey thing to take down into the store. I had to find out the names and jobs of staff members, ask customers how they think woolworths could improve customer service and then rate the store etc. The most enjoyable hour of my life. Not.

I can never find the Woolworths in Newcastle (the big one) as it's hidden in a maze of streets. Anyway, they have some games/DVDs/CDs really cheap, but others more expensive than other places. Weirdos...

heh, I used to get a discount in Woolies, but then all the Kingfisher companies disbanded and now I just get a discount in Superdrug. Still, at least I can buy cheap drugs, mwahahaha.

Woolies aren't too bad, but the staff never know anything about anything and you can't order anything from other stores.
