yeh i was listening to it in a class room with a few people, every one else was doing design work but we were listening to the game.

The world cup has certainly started in a big way. :-) Be great to see how things develop. I don't care if others think we're screwed - I still think England can go all the way and win. ;-)

Puts a whole new perspective on England's chances. With France only able to get 6 points now, if Senegal can manage another win and a draw or better they will finish higher than France. Therefore, it could end up with Senegal as Group A winners and France runners up.

So, if all goes to plan, England will be runners up and Argentina will win the group (OK, it would be better for England to win but I am being realistic). This would put the 2nd round as Argentina vs France and England vs Senegal. I think we have more of a chance against Senegal.

However, this rests, of course, on how Denmark and Uruguay perform.

This first result certainly changes a lot though. Well done Senegal!
