"Free Reward Pack - 4 Games and a Controller?"

yup It's true, I've managed to get 4 games and a controller out of Microsoft and here is my story;

1. Phone HelpLine to check if i can have 3 games like Wookie told me, they say it's fine.
2. Order XBox Reward Pack like every other XBox owner, send off application form asking for 3 games and no controller. 3 Games are:
PGR
OddWorld
Amped Snowboarding
3. 34 days later(today) get Pack with DOA3, Amped and controller.
4. Unpack games and controller to find out they are in German (!) and I have the wrong games :(
5. Call HelpLine Tell them my problem
6. Spend 15 mins listening to dodgy electronical music
7. Get told i can keep everything i got sent and I can have another 2 games of my choice!
8. Find out that German games are only in German packaging and work perfectly in English on XBox.
9. Hurridely tell parents and brother.
10. Over the moon.

There you go, that's the amazing story of how Nid (me) got 4 games and a controller as a customer reward pack.

It seams MS have made a right balls up of the whole thank you package.

I emailed them ages ago asking for Amped and DOA3. The games ain't arrived but I'n not angry. Sega took there time sending me Dreamkey 3.

Today, I sent the form to them again, only this time by post and with a reciept which shows proof of purchase. Garbe123, I think you may have to do the same.

If all turns out good, like it did for the writer of this topic, my 2 games should arrive tomorrow and my second application will also get processed, sending me another 2 games in a months time.

That is, if all goes to plan...hehe :P

I am very sorry if I have offended you.

I dislike the makers of the XBox. Infact, I don't hate the console at all, I give it chances every sunday when I have to sell it at work. It has good games on it and (in my opinion) one very good game.

Again, I am sorry. Enjoy your console/s.

Heh, I was only joking and I will continue to joke about the consoles, even the GameCube.

Grow up Er-no, if u dont like xbox then fine, no need to keep comming in ere and moanong and beign sarcastic, plus if your gamecube is soo good why are u in here posting pointless messages rather than playing your apparently 'better' games?

Thats funny, I thought Halo was on the Xbox! Anyway forbe is right, after letting my anger out on you ninties in that post I then did a sensible one to counter my rather biased thoughts and it was accepted by all. After that I haven't wrote bad things about the GameCube and although I don't like it I am not going say anymore on the matter! As for you, why do you bother posting if all the time it is negative, the Xbox has some amazing games out and I can name 6 that are truly ground breaking and this is only after 6 weeks! There are more to come this year and in my opinion the Xbox has the best looking release callendar out!

I used to help make games, and TimeSplitters ruled.

Halo rules. Rules over anything. Bungie used to be owned by Mac, thats why it rules... Apart from that I dont really enjoy any other game on the GameCube.
