It's not treason

Killing the Queen is not treason as most people think it's just murder

Treason is plotting and carrying out or attempting to carry out the down fall of monarchy AND country.

Also Piracy of the sea and air involving murder is seen as treason

You could be hanged for treason until 1998

You can still theoretically be hanged for Piracy though the courts wouldn't

Yes, M'lud, I concur it LOOKS that way, but in fact I intend to prove here today to the assembled jury that in fact it's the ENVELOPE that was attached to the stamp that is upside down, and not the stamp itself.
