Exams during the week so I don't think we will be using it until around mid-week.
I'm posting this really for tips on recording on these multitrack recorders as I have never used one before and nor have any of the other band members. Should be pretty simple how to work the thing though, it sounds simple and if anything goes wrong there's always the manual :-)
But I am just asking for tips.
The only major problem I can think of at the moment which is suppose to be is that the room we are in is pretty small and so I heard recording may be bad quality? I don't think it will be a problem though.
Oh and another one...recording drums.
I saw a microphone set which we told our drummer about in a shop the other day. It's just hooking up all the microphones to the drums and then go from there and he is going to buy. But, in the meantime, whats the best method of recording drums? Just like using a standard microphone?
I don't know if many of you have exprience in this but if you have please share all knowledge.
Thanks.
or 'Aura of (something)'... dunno what the something could be though...

Not quite sure, sounds like 'Boyz 2 Men' or something.

Yep it's unnamed at the moment but if I put the words I think I'm going to put to it then it will probably be called 'Target'.
Thing is, when they recorded that I was at home revising but now we have got the making of MP3's sorted we should have a few downloadable tracks over the next week.
The first song is obvouisly the first song we done and is pretty much finished, just needs to be recorded. That's called 'Fight On'. Thats the really emo track. Nice bass.
The second song is more heavier and not named at moment.
The third is called 'Betrayed' and is more punky-emo. Kinda catchy tune, people that have heard that like it. Still needs work though it's nearly finished.
We just keep adding bits now and again to diffrent songs.
And the fourth song is the one Sibs heard the music for without bass and singing as me and Billy were away. That's probably our heaviest track.
Hopefully will get alot doen in the next week, I want some tracks finalised and online. I'll let you hear them.
Still need a name...grrr
(grapples with Goatboy for a few minutes until, seeing he is fighting a losing battle, flees, Goatboy still holding the Dr's dismembered leg)
But it's ok, I understand.
Look, I hit drums. I count to 5...er...4.
Much after 4 and i get confused and nervous.
er...smashy smash drums.
