Metal Gear Solid - It's a serious game about sneaking around and shooting people right?
Well, according to what I've just read and heard that's all about to change. Not radically, but just a part.

Scroll down a bit on that page and what will you see...it's Solid Snake on Skateboard. Now, when I first saw these shots I thought "Yeah right, this is a joke isn't it" but I read it all through and it seems as though it's not.
This unlockable Skateboarding mode in Metal Gear Substance is one of many other modes of play.
If this is true...what on earth are they doing?!? It's like putting Lara Croft in Super Smash Brothers or something...

They've now had about four slaps and a poke...anyone else want to do something to them?

Ah well, if they dont lose the whole MGS feel because of all these extras then thats ok.
I just dont want them to be getting to involved with other things and not concentrating on the proper thing.

I think the game may just be a whole bunch of extras, I'm not too sure. Better go ask someone from the Sony forum about that.
Actually, I think the Skateboarding etc is an extra you can unlock after completing all the missions. And I think there are a hell of a lot of missions, 200 or something.

Yeah, it spoils the whole feel of the game.
Even if it did have that stuff which I said I think it would still be too silly. You just cant imagine a game like MGS to feature a skateboard in it. You wouldnt exactly see spies and terrorists riding round on skateboards whilst in missions like what they are.
Its just stupid.
Why put in something like ths when they could use that space for something good. Extra missions or something like that.

I don;t think the shooting things going to happen. Could liven it up or put some sense in it though...
It's no Tony Hawks beater by the looks of things but it could be really good to play.
It just seems like they are ruining the whole Metal Gear series if this is true. It's madness, they need a slap.
