ps2 is so crap it only has two control ports (WOW lets have a two player. (Nintendo and Sega R SIMPLY THE BEST)

The PS2 games, and price, are better than the DC will be in a years time. At the moment the 1st Gen PS2 Games will look a slight bit better than DC games are. But in a years time when PS2 Games switch to DVD Games, then that is when PS2 will suddenely over-take the DC, as they can only offer a DVD Player and not DVD Games. The only real contenders for PS2's Crown is the X-Box and Gamecube, but PS2 has got a year at the least to prepare for a Tough Market, who knows what dirty deals might go on so either can be the market leader???.......
for both consoles to get the same it works out much dearer for the DC.
sony has an internet connection, should b able to use it next year
we only need to pay £20 for 5 players.

And I think that a 4 player deathmatch is more important than DVD. Ofcourse, all you loners probably don't have 3 friends to play against so you'd rather have the DVD.

Do gamers want a standard DVD player or a games CONSOLE with internet gaming and 4 control sockets!
I'd rather the company who produced the console could make first class games for it. THAT is the only reason the N64 and Saturn even stood a chance against the original PSX!

And look in most magazines, Sony have low priced thing and they go write up to the best like the Sony 32" Fd Trinaton WEGA Digital Flat widescreen

No DVD and 4 control ports, i would rather have that!
I think that the message was "YOU ARE AN IDIOT."
I'm not convinced that the PS2 will be half the success that the PS was but I'd come up with a more constructive and imaginative argument than that.
Although I still think Sony should have put in 4 pad slots. After all, paying £300 PLUS any games PLUS any extra pads PLUS memory cards, well, you hardly want to pay extra for a multi tap!

I think you'll find more 4 player games coming out for the PS2. Jst look at the launch titles and the games due before Xmas. TTT, Timesplitters, DOA2 to name a few.
It seem that unreal tournament is taking it a step further though. As well as having a four player split screen option, it also includes the option to link four PS2 togeher using the USB ports. It will also let you combine both of these options to 4 PS2 linked with 4Players on each to give a maximum 16 PLAYERS! sounds good!
