Nintendo Names Iwata New President After Yamauchi Steps Down
Osaka, May 24 (Bloomberg) -- Nintendo Co., the world's second- largest video-game maker, said Satoru Iwata will become president at the end of the month, replacing Hiroshi Yamauchi who served in that post for more than 50 years.
Iwata, 42 years old, currently serves as a board member at the Kyoto-based company and is head of Nintendo's business planning department. Iwata joined Nintendo in June 2000.

Well, depends what you mean? The biggest publisher is Nintendo, but that's because the publish almost every game to be released on their consoles.
The biggest developer is probably Sega, Namco or EA?
The one that makes the most money are people like EA who have massive Western publishing rights.
Sonic
Afraid to Shoot Strangers rules as does Fear of the Dark...
And who love the wickerman :)

Probably EA
Ever heard of Blind Guardian and Iced Earth? Similar, also good. Iced Earth perhaps less so.

That's.. very wrong.
I see the ghosts of navigators
But they're lost
As they sail into the sunset
They'll count the cost
It's very clear...
Yamauchi headed Nintendo for 52 years and made them the most profitable games company in the world.
Cause they are lost
Watch them sale into the sunset.
Come count the cost.

Iwata did not join Nintendo in 2000, he made pokemon way back in 1995 and began making it in 1992.
