Second Notable: Monkey_man (23 votes)
Third Place: SonicRav (20 votes)
Other high scorers:
VenomByte - 10 votes
Dringo, Mojojojo and RM18 - 8 votes
Cooky - 7 votes
savatt, Mystique - 6 votes
These results take into account the following factors:
1. Wookiee Monster's and Mojojojo's votes after 12:00 count, only on the proviso that the SR clock is a few minutes fast. By the way guys, real clever, waiting until the last few minutes so you could mess things up. Cheers for that.
2. Two people, who shall remain nameless, voted for SonicRav under different accounts in the last few minutes. These votes have been disqualified, as voting under a different name is not allowed, and frankly, the action of a toehead. I'm sure it happened for others candidates too, but Sonic was the only one who stood a chance of winning, so those are the only votes I disqualified. Cheers for that.
3. Someone started a topic suggesting everyone should vote for Pro Evo to represent the Sony forum. This may have lead people to vote for someone because people were telling them to. Cheers for that.
Now, as I understand it, both Monkey_man and SonicRav don't wish to be notables. Monkey_man has his own reasons for not wanting to be a notable, and wishes to give the status to the person who came third. This would be SonicRav. SonicRav's problem was that people voted for him under another name, but seeing that these votes were removed, there should be no problem.
If I've got this right, then the two Notables voted will be PRO EVO and SONICRAV. If anyone wishes to complain about this, feel free, but frankly, I can't be bothered with this any more.
Well everyone, congratulations on making something which was supposed to be a bit of fun into the most stressful part of week. Cheers for that.

(in a nice way)
Do you know it's actually defined as "Olive" ?
Monkey Man, the fact is that you came 2nd in both the official result, and the result of just the notables and regular votes. You deserve to be notable, and that's why people voted for you.
I still think you should reconsider- even though you may not think you're worthy, lots of posters, regulars, notables and newbies alike, think you are.
I'm happy to step down for you- it'll certainly be a weight off my shoulders seeing as I'm now the "reject" who came in by default.

Here! Here!
How about naming the people who went out of their ways to almost wreck the election? Certainly they shouldn't be allowed to vote again.
Secondly, as I said in Monkey_man's resignation topic, I really didn't want to become a notable at someone elses loss. The fact is that more forum members wanted him notable than me- looking at my count up of just the regs' and notables' votes, this follows through. It's definatelty a loss to the forums when democracy fails because people say things about Monkey man's posting quality.
Finally, like I'm sure Snuggly feels by his original post, this election has been the worst yet. Why did regulars, who are meant to be intelligent, go out of their way to cast extra votes for me (and I'm sure other members too). Why have people attacked Monkey Man's posting style- from the results people like it. And one last question for the staff- why have newbies been allowed to vote? I though the original idea of not letting them vote was that they hadn't been here long enough to make an informed opinion. What's changed?
Anyway, the people who really deserve the credit are Mr. Snuggly, who had to check lots of newbies accounts & Pro Evo and Monkey Man who came 1st and 2nd in the full election AND just including the regular and notable votes. It's just a shame the way things turned out.
