Stop trying to muck up our computers. The reason virus scanners don't detect it is because it is NOT a virus.
Autoexec.bat is a vital part of booting Windows. Without it Windows won't boot. You'll have to take the drive to another running Windows system or use a DOS/Linux bootdisk to get it running again.
On seconds thoughts, there computer would be unusable so there is not much point in that :D.
Heh. I always ignore virus warnings because if I ever see any attatchments in my e-mails, I just delete them. Best way to do it.
