Voting today, I didnt know, better go and vote. Been abit busy, but the boards can be filled with alot of spam, even this one. No new games at all for me, have to wait till after uni to get a few new ones.

Yes DVD's are cheap to make but games arent. Think that a team of 50 odd people spend 1-2 years making a game. Think of all the money it costs to pay there wages, keep the company running. Some games like Shenmue, Final Fantasy etc cost tens of millions. If everyone bought copied games from someone then the games companies would go bust. The whole industry would collapse because no money is made.

I bet your glad that people actually buy proper games from shops and not copied games or the computer industry would be dead.

ok your right iam not a gamer but i do play games every now and then that is why i have an xbox but iam going to get copied games i am not going to pay £45 for a game when i can pay £5 because i am sensible the dvd cost's about £3 to make and they sell it for £45 wtf that is just plain silly, look at this as i am goin on strink from paying these prices anyone who wants to goin me contact me :-)

Yeah, there's no point in chipping consoles just to play cheaper games - I feel better when I know that I'm playing on a quality console game; which now that I've bought will give the developer something back :-) If ya know what I mean!

I do play copied PC games - but only because PC has no mainstream owner -, and I know that the companies get such a big return in profits from selling their game all over the world that I'm not really damaging there profits.

With X-Box - quite a small userbase compared to PC -, if loads of people start to copy games developers may pull-the-plug on future projects.

So everyone - pay the £45 with some joy in your heart that you're doing the right thing :-p
