Mountains, they are the strongest of all structures.
Standing tall for the world to perceive
They never need to talk, nor do they feel
Creating a layer of thick coated snow to hide their true face
A mountain can hide any disgrace
Although they are millions of years old.
They aren't like humans, as we have souls
For, they as mountains may never speak.
Humans are not mountains.
You.
When you wake up one morning
and you wish it was night.
Or when you wake with a fright
and wish there was daylight
Remember the words which comfort you,
remember the songs which relay the truth.
If all seems dark and you cannot see,
try to glance back down in your own youth.
These you will see, happiness and love,
no questions, no answers to try and think of.
Youth is a blessing, a symbol, a key.
Getting wiser and older now seems a part of me.
God bless you people, you live a life too,
remember the most important person in the world. Is you.
Just a couple. They are mine, meaning a lot to me. Hopefully you people can use them as well.
Thanks

If there was a small one millimetre spot being what I meant... you hit it and balanced on it perfectly.
Very nice. :) Snowdrop's rule.

From that I would get the fact that you are stressing you are an individual. No two snow drops are alike and similarly, no two people are a like. Each person has their own unique merits and their own unique personality.
It is very easy to pass snowdrops off as 'just another snowdrop' but that woould be missing the point. Same with humans, you can have stereotypical views about someone but you must never forget a person's individuality.
Am I close? :-)

'malarky'... hehe.
Yes.. its rather useful to know what its about.
I prefer the Mountains one.. that my favorite personal poem of my collection of about thirty.
You perfectly got the snow on the face metaphor :)
Can you get this one?
'Humans are alike snowdrops, each completely different'.
Have a go :)

Its something I definately can relate to. I like to sit back as the quiet one and let others do the talking. People often tell me that they didn't know what I was like until they really got to know me. Seems like I do "create a layer of thick coated snow to hide my true face".
Not sure if thats what it means to you but its what I got from it!
The second one I loved. Brilliant, genius and then some.

No really, it was top stuff. I was gonna quote my favourite parts but I couldn't single any out and didn't want to repost the whole thing. Did like the references to growing older and wiser from youth.
Excellent stuff.
> Nice poems J. Very proffesional looking an' all that :D
I created a monster, cos nobody wants to :D
