A good way to explain this to er-no is this:
Follow these instructions:
1. Raise your right to about eye level.
2. make your palm face your face.
3. Put all fingers together.
4. Lift thumb so that it is 90degrees to the rest of your fingers
5. now retract all your fingers except your thumb and the one next to the thumb.
6. Now you have a demonstration of how being short can make you big in another way
7. Now rotate your hand so that your finger is vertical, then you have a demonstration on hoe being tall can make you short in another way.
