I only set this up so that people DON'Y CHAT IN THE VOTING THREAD!

Also, we seem to get about a million of these on elecetion day, which is pointless, so try and keep it all in here. Cheers.

Chat about the election in here, who's going to win? Who doesn't deserve any votes? Who deserves more votes.

Yeah, the whole Sony forum getting together to elect someone is a bit daft. I doubt if most of them even care who wins the election, they just want to fit in with the group and vote with the rest of 'em

On Sonicrav's earlier point, I don't think newbies should be allowed to vote. No offense to you lot, but because the people who have a reputation for spamming fit in a newbie category, there are few newbies who you can trust to vote properly....

A good point Sonic but in a way, Notables having 2 votes can be just as bad. As a joint unit they can literally dictate whose going to become a notable which would underline the pointlessness of other people bothering to vote.

Plus even if newbies can't vote, you'll still get groups that will back a person together rather than vote individually so stopping votes by newbies won't make things much better.

I agree. That is why I'm not voting. I feel that the current crop of notables is good enough as it stands.

This election is rubbish. The two people that are going to win should never mbe regulars, and the two runners up are the only ones that deserve it.

I know the whole Sony forum are just voting for Pro Evo because they decided. Monkey man's good, but he's not notable material.

This election has been a farce.

Have you already voted, or are you waiting to put my name down? Remember, you can be in all my future posts... Isn't that worth the effort it takes to write "I vote for MoJoJoJo"?

*slips him a fiver*

How about now? No?

The newbie thing is crap! Newbies should NOT be able to vote.

Just to prove my point, if I want to, I could have signed up 2 days ago and I would have been a newbie (on this account) today. I could have voted after being here for 2 days!

It should be regulars only if you ask me, not that i'll get any votes!
But you can easily get a newbie to vote for you. I've seen newbies vote today for people I have NEVER even heard of!

Just out of interest, how many people think newbies should be allowed to vote? No offense to newbies out there (some of whom make excellent points and will undoubtedly become notables of the future), but there are so many newbies voting who don't know enough about the forums to do so.

This results in them voting for the candidate who has the best campaign, not the best posts, or the one that everyone in Room X tells them to vote for. The system is too open to abuse.

But on the up side, Notables get 2 votes.
