I tried this a while ago, and i'm feeling quite dispirited from the response I got, so PLEASE, if you can find it in your heart to download a 1mb (yes, you heard me right) mp3 of my band from www.rockonuk.com/html/mp3z.htm then I would be one of the most happy people on earth. Just 5 minutes to download, 4 minutes to listen to it, thats all i'm asking.
And as you're all such great people i'm expecting some feedback, good or bad, on this post from those good souls who do choose to make me happy and download this mp3.
Please, please give it a try.

Sorry to be negative, but I really didn't like that. It made me feel weird too...

Anyway, back to Ocean Colour Scene and Iron Maiden...

Dr G, I wouldn't mind a better quality copy if poss. Perhaps at 128kbit/s instead of the 32kbit/s. It's good though. Kind of reminds me of the stuff I used to listen to in the nineties when British music was cool.

What is your job in the band anyway?

I like it, especially the drums. It is good to hear some good British indie in these times of American bands like Blink 182 etc which don't quite cut it.

Two days mixing one song!? Jeez, mus**t've either been a slow worker or a complicated song! I'd like a good quality version, that would be cool if you could do that. I'm in a band, and we're good, but we haven't even got a bloody name!

That was actually a proffesional recording, but the bandwidth level makes it sound sh*t. The CD version sounds basically like a proffesional recording, and the bloke spent 2 days mixing it down, as we had a crap drumkit and the levels threw a massive wobbler.
If you wanted i could probably make some arrangement so you could get your hands on a good quality version.

Pretty good actually, though the sound quality on the mp3 is a little dodgy. You should get it recorded and mixed professionally.

Great! I'm really glad that you liked it.
I play Rhythm/Lead guitar and sing (i've got quite a bit better now, the recording was done about 5 months ago).
If you go back to the website and go onto Jpegz (or whatever its called) you can see a picture of our drummer (12.jpg).
Although for some reason no pictures were taken of the other members of the band.
