Well he has no moustache now as he wrongly predicted that Bolton would not survive in the Premiership.
I think it was from 1981 when playing for Liverpool, but i cannot remember before that. So 22ish years.

It is hard to compare Maradona to players like Pele as they peaked at different times. Pele was great in the 1970 World Cup with a great team to back him up. When FIFA gave the award for the World's best player ever to Maradona i agreed because he did bring a average team to stardom.
