Hello again. Just a formal warning, the next Notable Election will take place on Wednesday May 22nd, three months on from the last one. Start your official campaigns now! A proper thread will be started on the Wednesday morning, do NOT cast your votes now. This time round, newbies will be allowed to vote, and as a special Big Brother-esque twist, every vote from another Notable is worth TWO votes. The two users with the most votes after a full day's voting will become gold and stuff. Ooh, exciting!

Go, spread the word my love monkeys! Notable election, May 22nd!

Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure it was you who complained last time round that newbies weren't allowed to vote. Prove me wrong? And just to clear things up, Notables get two votes to do whatever they want with - bestow them both on one person, spread it about a bit - whatever. And don't bother trying to create an account and vote for yourself, cos I'll know.

If a newbie's still a newbie after three months, chances are they won't know who to vote for, as they obviously don't spend much time on the forums... unless they just read all the posts and never reply

Why should Newbies be allowed to vote? Surely they have not been here long enough to know who to vote for? What if somebody signs up at 156 different people between now and the election, and then votes him/her self in?

I'll go with Newbies to vote, but only if they have been signed up for three months.

Your posts are more likely to win GAD.

(This may not be true, but it'll get more newbies wanting to be notables)
