Having recently announced that the diminutive actor is to appear in the forthcoming sequel to ‘Postal’, what other sorts of games could the pocket-sized manboy appear in?
Having had a poor run in life by being a failed security guard, suing his parents and not getting the main part of the child android in Spielberg’s sci-fi yawn-fest ‘A.I’, little Gary decides to lend his huge name to a number of new video games in order to jump back into the world stage, and here they are:
DIFF’RENT STROKES: The classic culture clash comedy in which a widowed Manhattan millionaire adopts two orphaned black brothers from the ghettos of Harlem is finally turned into a video game.
Philip Drummond has been kidnapped by a gang of paedophile protestors who’ve wrongfully accused him of adopting the two boys for illegitimate means, and it’s left to Arnold and Willis to rescue him and clear his name in this two-player beat ‘em up.
Yes, it’s back to the good old days of ‘old skool’ beat ‘em ups, with locations varying from the mean streets, subways, train stations, office block and the protestors secluded mountain HQ.
One bonus level even sees you team up with guest star Mr.T!
Weapons include a water pistol, rubber baseball bat and Gary’s special shin punching knuckle-dusters.
“Whatchu talkin ‘bout!”
SUPER GARY COLEMAN BALL: The follow up to Sega’s brilliant Monkey Ball, has had a slight change. Instead of using simians encased in spheres for the sequel, Sega decided to use Gary Coleman instead, resulting in one of the most humorous games ever!
As well as the usual maze puzzles to play in the one-player mode, you also get to play shed loads of fun mini-games too. Mini games include ‘Gary Target’, where you must open up your afro to create wings, then hit a target to score points, ‘Gary Fight’, where four players can duke it out with giant boxing gloves, ‘Gary Trolley Race’, where players race each other in shopping trolleys and many more.
There are plenty of hilarious Gary quotes that accompany the action, adding to the great Gary Coleman experience – he’s so cute.
GARY COLEMAN’S TRAIN SIMULATOR: Anybody that knows about Gary Coleman knows that he is an avid fan of model trains.
You now get to join Gary with his virtual train set as you experience all the great fun that a train sim has to offer.
Gary’s virtual garage has a large train set with which you can play with, and Gary’s so small, that he can even walk around the set in a 3rd person mode.
GARY COLEMAN’S KRAZY KARTS: Join all the tiny Hollywood actors in this hilarious cartoon racing game. Racers include Gary Coleman himself, Short Round, Danny DeVito, Kenny Baker (R2-D2), Oompa Loompas, Nick Nack from ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’, Mini-Me and more.
As with all these type of games, there are a variety of fun weapons and power-ups to be collected as you race around the mini circuits, and of course, a fantastic four-player mode, where you can pit your midget racer against friends or siblings in all out racing or a battle mode.
GARY COLEMANS FANTASTIC VOYAGE: Based on the 1966 film, a VIP is seriously ill, and one man can only save his life. Seeing as the technology to shrink people to microscopic size doesn’t yet exist, Gary Coleman is the only manboy small enough to do the mission, so he is injected into the bloodstream of the dying man with the brain his intended target. On your journey you will encounter many strange enemies such as dirt and viruses and helpful blood cells. This is the first video game to be set entirely inside a human body, with accurate physics and graphics of muscle tissue, lungs, heart, blood flow, skeletal system, etc.
Will your mission be a hearty success, or will you end up a failure in the anus?
Gary is even to be rumoured to be in talks with Nintendo about appearing as a character in Smash Bros 3.
Has anyone got any other ideas for Gary Coleman themed games?? :)
Forget the monkies, Gary Coleman appears to be taking over!
What about 'Gary Coleman Escape'
A game in which you have to run around the world and catch little Gary Coleman's in a big Net! No?? ok.
