Rogue Thingy is annoying me, very hard and I keep ending up trying to smash into the scenery in red-faced anger.
Bloody Y-Wings.
So about midnight I stick on Super Monkey Ball.
Cute music.
Fluffy menus.
Little "cute" monkeys, one is even a baby and is pink.
So far Nintardo Deluxe.
Start the game.
But you can't practice until you do normal level? muuuuuuh?
Did the 1st 10 levels.
It's alright, not difficult at all. Plinky-plonky music, cute little chimp in a ball, amusing cartoon sound effects.
This is for 3 year olds.
Really stupid ones.
Go to "Party Games" and choose "Monkey Fight".
Punch the crap out of my mate with a MASSIVE monkey-fist.
Laugh so hard I give myself an asthma attack.
Monkey Race.
Pretty good, straight forward Mario-Kart/Diddy Kong Racer type affair.
Monkey Flight.
Keep making my ape fall into the sea.
A lot.
Line from Alan Patridge repeats in my brain, the Georgie Handyman talking about the monkeys in Gibraltar:
"Ay, it ate me fags. The whole packet. So I, so I picked it up right, and I threw it into the sea"
Get the hang of making the monkey glide far enough to reach the islands.
Laugh continously.
Geordie Monkey-lobbing induces sore-chested tears of funny.
I'm not sure about the single-player game, it looks ok if a little kiddy.
But the 3 Party Games are excellent.
Monkey Race is so-so, but the fighting and Flying is, without a doubt, top class multiplayer fun.
It's not involving and genre-breaking.
It's not stunningly amazing graphics.
It's not total immersion.
It's 2 Monkeys punching each other with oversized boxing gloves, or two monkeys gliding before falling into the water.
The mini-games are probably fun but they're hard to unlock so far.
Super Monkey Ball isn't going to break new ground or stun and amaze.
It's just good fun.
Glad you enjoy it. I am completely hooked by the game whenever I switch the console on. I can't stop laughing when I have this huge punch glove and its super extended and I can spin it round.
That rules. :)
:D
