I really am glad that all you Xbox owners are enjoying your machines. I myself worried wether you guys had made a mistake in buying one but it looks like you're all having fun. You guys don't run down the GameCube either so I can see that we are all getting along pretty well. I look forward to playing on an Xbox soon!

Well when you sold your PS2 for one, you have to try your hardest :-) Though I genuinly do think that the X-Box is amazing - especially the games announced for it.

C'mon, even the launch games were amazing!!

*Halo - need I say more?
*Amped - amazing snowboarding, probably distinguished if released on the PS2.
*Rallisport Challenge - sublime looking, handling rally game; with a great sense of achievement on completion.
*PGR - one of the best driving games on any console. Not only a great selection of cars, but *gasp* real car damage
*Oddworld, Fusion Frenzy (not bad for a laugh) and Mad Dash Racing (wahey!!).

Let's not even go near Bloodwake though...

M$ haven't released any of the sales figures officially, though many sites say it's doing pretty well.

However for some people this means that the X-Box is selling crap: "they've only sold about 2 X-Box's since launch" - hmmm, muppets?

Weekly sales between PS2 and XBox in Europe were neck and neck just befoe GC was released. There has been no news since. I guess it's doin' ok, bearing in mind May isn't the most popular time of year for buying consoles.

In the US there is a bit of a price war going on. PS2 and Xbox are now down to $200. MS new xbox advertising scheme starts this week in the US. No word on Japan at the moment, I suspect they are gearing up for the world cup.

Certainly looks like the X-Box is doing better now. :-) I'm guesing that things will pick up even more when the online capabilities come into the equation as the X-Box definatly has the best online games in the pipeline.

Most people will go on about playing games online through their PC, but then maybe this is just me, but I spend the whole time hoping the game won't crash on me rather than enjoying the game. At least with a console theres a lot less chance of this happening. The console is designed to be able to handle all of its games, whereas on a PC you have to make sure you have all the right crap in it to run the games.

FPS games such as Halo and Unreal Championship should be excellent. Not to mention the excellent RPG style games that are on the way. :-)

A real Mensan doesn't talk about their IQ, just tells everyone it's over 130 - the top 2% in the country.

I think they just do that so inside they're laughing at the rest of us. My IQ is - apparently - 119, and that's for someone at least 2 years older than me. So I was quite happy :-)
