I was just wondering if anyone had had any information from either Sony of their retailer regarding the date which you can actually get your PS2...????
So far all I've got is a E-mail confirming my order and giving me an order number.....

If you ordered from this site, go to ukplaystation2.com and click on pre-order. Get your EXACT date. That will tell you when you will expect to recieve you PS2.

David,

No, if you ordered from UKgames.com then your PS2 will be delivered to you as soon as they have it.

Those of us discussing collection dates have ordered from high-street retailers such as Game, Woolworths, Electronics Boutique etc., and therefore we have to go to the store we ordered from in order to pick it up.

Sorry I'm a little confused. I pre-ordered the PS2from UKgames.com back in March and have had a confirmation email that I can expect it in November. I understood that it would be delivered but you guys are talking about collecting it from a retail shop. Will I have to collect mine and if so from where?

More than likely - but as that's what they asked for, that's what they'll get! I'm taking no chances... might even take my passport along as backup! Okay, so that may be overkill, but...

Nope, they are one and the same.

Babylonian.

The retailers that you mention will want the e-mail as IDENTIFICATION. It is the most convenient way to make sure that you are who you say that you are.

Mark.

Don't worry too much, the MAIN document is still the BLUE PRE-ORDER FORM. Just inform your retailer of your situation and offer to provide another form of I.D.

If you have a pre-order form, that is all that is required by the majority of retailers.

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
